Moré, the major language of Western Africa, is spoken principally in Upper Volta. TheMore' Basic Course is divided into three cycles. Cycle one is devoted mainly to socially useful expressions and to general notes on social usage and the major points of grammar. Cycle two concentrates on developing fuller control of the language structure within the context of high frequency situations. cycle three presents additional materials for comprehension and conversation practice aimed at the consolidation of skills developed in cycle two. units 1 - 37 include basic sentences, general notes, and drills. Units 38-48 are organized by topics such as the weather, school, and traveling.
